In order to make room for a full-time caregiver for our mom and dad, my sisters and I had to clear out my mom's office which was filled with 40+ years of books and materials from her incredible crafts publishing business! When we discovered a box full of squares with beautiful embroidered birds, we all said, "ERICA JARRETT" at the same time. We shipped the box of birds off to Erica and she produced the most gorgeous pillows for my sisters and a stunning quilt for me. Her skill, care, thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and beautiful eye for design and color are profoundly reflected in these items. Erica took these random pieces of embroidery that we couldn't bear to throw away (from a book our mom published many years earlier) and transformed them into beautiful and unique heirlooms that we'll have for a lifetime.

I have also been the lucky recipient of some other Erica Jarrett one-of-a-kind pieces. The quilt she made for my wedding - filled with colors, images, and design choices that reflect my husband and me -  has had pride of place on the wall in every home we've had. And we LOVE the quilt she made for our bed that is both decorative and practical and features our favorite vibrant colors with a beautifully detailed quilted design. 

Erica's skill is only surpassed by her uncanny ability to turn ideas into masterpieces. Whether it's a collection of ties from a beloved partner, a teenager's t-shirts, or the beloved giraffe toy of a new grandchild, I've seen her thoughtfully and brilliantly turn these items into works of art! She is truly the quilt-whisperer and I feel very lucky to have her in my life.
